Certificates

UAB Žalvaris is engaged in collection and management of taxable packaging and product waste and is entitled to issue certificates for recycled (used) or exported taxable packaging and product waste. UAB Žalvaris is inscribed on the List of Companies Using or Exporting Waste Authorised to Issue Certificates.

Pollution tax on polluting the environment with packaging waste

In observance of the Republic of Lithuania Law on Pollution Tax, the Republic of Lithuania Law on the Management of Packaging and Packaging Waste and Packaging and Packaging Waste Management Regulations, the taxpayers of pollution tax for polluting the environment with goods and/or packaging waste shall be those who engage in:

• packaging of goods and placing them to the Lithuanian market;
• importing pre-packed goods and placing them to the Lithuanian market.

The taxpayers of pollution tax for polluting the environment with waste of taxable goods shall be those who engage in:

• manufacturing of taxable goods and placing them to the Lithuanian market;
• importing taxable goods and placing them to the Lithuanian market.

Taxable goods:

• Motor oil
• Motor fuel, lubricant and air intake filters
• Accumulators
• Dampers
• Metal packaging
• Plastic packaging
• PET packaging

UAB Žalvaris issues certificates to importers and manufacturers attesting to the proper recycling of waste of the manufacturer or importer.
