In implementing ongoing campaigns in different regions throughout Lithuania, UAB Žalvaris collects from residents unused household appliances, galvanic elements (batteries), motor vehicle accumulator, lubricant, fuel and air intake filters, metal and plastic packaging and other (hazardous and non-hazardous) waste.
List of collectible waste
The Company publicizes information about organised waste collection and awareness-raising campaigns in regional press and on the Internet website.
Residents can deliver accumulated waste to the nearest site of UAB Žalvaris.
Residents can leave used galvanic elements (batteries) in special containers used for the collection of galvanic elements (batteries) in Statoil gas stations, Sales network IKI managed by Palink, Senukai Shopping Centre (Kaunas), entities (public organisations, schools, kindergartens, etc.), which are indicated in the projects for the collection of batteries and galvanic elements.
We hope that long-lasting experience of the Company Žalvaris in collecting and managing hazardous waste and in implementing eco education projects will encourage residents to carefully sort their household waste and deliver such waste for management.
